Saurus Totems - Saurian Raiders

Each rover caravan transports one large totem divided into numerous sections which they attach together once they camp. The Guardian Totem, as it is known, acts like an anchor and an altar through which the saurus can pay respect to the caravan’s most prominent spirit; the one who grants them access to magic and intercedes with other spirits for them. The guardian spirit varies from caravan to caravan, depending on the lineage. Other spirits are also present, and some individuals have a particular connection to a certain spirit. Most of the dealings with spirits is done through dreams.

The Saurus Rovers are nomads, their caravans spread through numerous parts of Eluan searching for saurians, whom they befriend and make part of their herd. Brave and community oriented, few people in Eluan are as in touch with the wild and spirits as the rovers, whose society and rituals revolve around respect for nature and its creatures.
