Restless Corpse - Legion of Steel

Restless corpses are the first servants any emergent strain of the Ferrovex infection will employ. Freshly dead or long buried, it matters not to the Ferrovex – where it finds corpses, it finds minions. These initial hosts for the infection are slow, mindless monsters with none of the natural weaponry or metallic enhancements that its later creations boast, though a perceptive adventurer may very well notice small lattices of metal spreading through their skin.

Restless corpses are remarkable in only one way – they can be raised in vast numbers by the Ferrovex, and they are difficult to permanently slay. The Ferrovex uses them as chaff and as workers, using them for manual labour or to drown hapless victims under tides of mindless, shambling flesh.
