Like most hobgoblins, Tanek Vorr’s business is violence. For years, he soldiered with the Red Brigade, a respected mercenary company known for their brutality, effectiveness, and reliability. But reputation can’t stop
a heavy cavalry charge, and the company was all but demolished during the War of Three Peaks.

Vorr escaped the slaughter, managing to round up other hobgoblin survivors along the way. With this vastly diminished but still significant force, Tanek Vorr took to piracy along the coast. The defeat of the Red Brigade had taught him caution, and he moved his fleet constantly to avoid any significant attempts at retribution.
