Yseult, Maiden of the Grove - Curse of the Skinwalkers

The Grove of Yseult is a sacred place said to exist somewhere in the Forest of Thorns, where a local hero – Sir Tryndane – vanquished a terrible evil and sealed it beneath the soil, losing his life in the effort. Legend tells that his lover, a wood nymph called Yseult, has guarded the grove for generations, watching over the immense black tree that serves as her beloved’s grave, and that Tryndane’s magic sword Exonar remains embedded in its trunk to this day. The story is well-known to most local folk – in fact, the Inn of the Black Oak is named after the legendary landmark. The grove is considered impossible to find by most, its location obscured by Yseult’s magic.
