The warm glow of a campfire is, for many nighttime travellers, a source of comfort in the dark. To a pack of wargs, it is a beacon leading them to an easy meal. Unlike wolves, fire holds no fear for these large canine predators. That is because wargs are far more intelligent than
their bestial appearance lets on, allowing them to elude traps and hunting parties seeking to drive these vicious predators from the area. Typically a skilled woodsman is needed to track the beasts, and more than one are typically required to actually kill wipe them out.
