Sinister Denizens of the Darkwood, Dark Wardens are listless spirits whose souls linger in this place of entrapment, unable to leave the woods due to the fey magics that trapped their bodies here in life, and refuse to release their spirits even after death. They roam the forest, seeking to possess awakened plants or fallen dryads, bending these creatures' power to their will.
