Massive bears with owl-like wings and the ability to fly at surprising speeds, Bear-Owls are among the most efficient predators in the Realm of Reversal. Their eyes are those of owls, allowing them to spot prey from great distances in lowlight, and their hulking frames move with an unnatural grace and silence as they swoop down to take their prey. While they typically eat while flying, tearing their prey apart midair and eating them alive, Bear-Owls are clever enough to handle more resistant prey by dropping them against hard objects on the ground. Stones splattered with blood but licked clean of anything else are a tell-tale sign that you are in Bear-Owl territory
